​Evgen Kubko participated in the Protection of the rights of women affected by war: Ukraine and Israel expert discussion

On 26 May 2025, Ukrinform hosted an expert discussion titled “Protecting the rights of women affected by war: Ukraine and Israel”. The event was organized by the V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Women's Tribune NGO. The Salkom Law Firm provided financial assistance to facilitate the event.

The event featured notable speakers, including Oleksandr Merezhko, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, Evgen Kubko, president of the Salkom Law Firm, and Natalia Onishchenko, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and president of the Women's Tribune NGO. Lawyers, judges, prosecutors, human rights defenders, and civil society activists also engaged in the discussion.

The expert discussion centered on enhancing the organizational and legal frameworks for safeguarding the rights of women impacted by war, with a particular focus on the experiences of Ukraine and Israel.
