On October 31, 2019, the meeting with Erland Herfindahl, Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), was held. The event was devoted to the discussion of the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) usage by companies that operate in Ukraine. GSP is the largest and oldest US trade preference program. It promotes economic development by eliminating duties on thousands of products when imported from one of 120 designated beneficiary countries and territories. The participants discussed on how to export goods to the US duty-free, which products can be exported to the US under the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) and other. The event was organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. The Managing partner of the Firm Eduard Tregubov participated in the meeting.
