Evgen Kubko, president of the Salkom law Firm, attended a round-table discussion of the reform of the national law in light of Ukrainian integration with the EU held on 25 May 2017 at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. Other presentation were made by Ukraine’s Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko, Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kiev Forensic Research Institute, Oleksandr Kopylenko, Director of the Institute of Law of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, members of the Ukrainian parliament, and prominent academicians.

The Forum, held on 24 May 2017, was organised by the Yuridicheskaya Praktika. Presentations were made by government officials, judges, and businessmen, who suggested strategies and tactics for trans-border tracing of assets. The Forum was also attended by international experts who discussed technologies of financial investigations in banking sector and shared their experience of using social networks to trace assets.

On 17 May 2017, Andrii Kybko attended a seminar on mediation as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism
The seminar “Solving business-related disputes by mediation in Germany and Ukraine (Wirtschaftsnahe Konfliktlösung durch Mediation in Deutschland und in der Ukraine) was organised of the Embassy of Germany in cooperation with the German Association of Advocates (DAV).
Practically all Firm’s lawyers were engaged in the project. The team lead by the Firm’s partners Pavlo Lukomskyi and Eduard Tregubov and managed by Tymofii Sikorskyy has been working literally around the clock for several month in extreme conditions. The project proved to be a challenging task but yet provided an opportunity for the lawyers to demonstrate their professional skills and stamina.
