Eduard Tregubov, a partner with the Salkom Law Firm, has attended KYIV LEGAL TECH HACKATHON
On 27-28 May 2017, IDF Reform Lab hosted in Kiev a hackathon of legal innovations KYIV LEGAL TECH HACKATHON. This is the first time that such an event has been organised in the Eastern Europe. It was attended by IT specialists, investors, mentors, lawyers and many other professionals who work on the fringe of technologies and law. Eduard Tregubov advised a group of software developers on the matters of state registers, state open databases, and real property during the entire duration of the hackathon, which lasted two days.

The Forum, held on 24 May 2017, was organised by the Yuridicheskaya Praktika. Presentations were made by government officials, judges, and businessmen, who suggested strategies and tactics for trans-border tracing of assets. The Forum was also attended by international experts who discussed technologies of financial investigations in banking sector and shared their experience of using social networks to trace assets.
Evgen Kubko, president of the Salkom law Firm, attended a round-table discussion of the reform of the national law in light of Ukrainian integration with the EU held on 25 May 2017 at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. Other presentation were made by Ukraine’s Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko, Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kiev Forensic Research Institute, Oleksandr Kopylenko, Director of the Institute of Law of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, members of the Ukrainian parliament, and prominent academicians.
