A new professional step for a partner with the Salkom Law Firm

The Salkom Law Firm congratulates its partner Taras Lukash on his election to the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.

Following a public competition within the quota of the Head of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine, Taras Lukash was elected a new member of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine. In connection with this transition and his joining the civil service, Taras Lukash left our firm.

Taras Lukash joined Salkom in 2003 as a lawyer, but thanks to his knowledge, professionalism, hard work and perseverance he became a partner with the firm. His main areas of practice were litigation and dispute resolution. A team of lawyers lead by Taras successfully completed a number of projects, and was endorsed by such companies as Lufthansa, Winner and others.

Taras has said about his experience with the Salkom Law Firm and the new chapter in his career: “I enter a new and crucial stage in my professional life as a member of the Highest Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine. I have behind me more than a decade of interesting and challenging work at the Salkom Law Firm. I highly appreciate every person I had an opportunity to work with, who contributed greatly in my personal as well as professional growth and development. I am confident that my practical experience will be useful in the achievement of tasks and objectives of the HQCJU, and will bring benefits the state and its citizens.

The meeting was organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. During the meeting, the participants had an opportunity to discuss the most pressing issues, such as the refund of input VAT, introduction of electronic excise duty marks, improvement of operations of SFA agencies, etc.)
