The conference was attended by prominent Ukrainian and German lawyers who made their detailed presentations.
Pavlo Lukomsky presented a report on the problems of contract law in Ukraine. The presentation was focused on the issues of application of the provisions of Ukrainian contract law in international commercial relations, highlighted current trends in the development of legislation, judicial and law-enforcement practices in the sphere of conclusion and performance of contracts. The report addressed the most recent developments in the Ukrainian legal system in the area of regulation of certain types of contracts.
The German-Ukrainian Bar Association was founded in 2009. The Association regularly holds events devoted to topical issues of legal systems of Ukraine and Germany. The activities of the Association are aimed at developing professional contacts between Ukrainian and German legal practitioners and scholars in the field of law and are designed to promote the strengthening of economic cooperation between business communities of the both countries.
